Our Valentines for Veterans project resulted in at least 600 handmade cards, crafts, and treat bags being delivered to the VA Medical Center, Hospice, Turning Point, and five local nursing homes. Our students and teachers worked hard to make adorable bookmarks, lovebugs, heart-shaped roses with lollipops in the middle, and many other thoughtful goodies. Thanks to all the children, parents, and teachers who made this project such a success! Our generosity will make this special day sweeter for hundreds of people in our community.
