Character Trait of the Month

At TPS, we celebrate one character trait each month. The traits are all from Alabama's list of 25 character traits that we teach in public schools statewide. The character word for August is ATTITUDE or CHEERFULNESS. Teachers will highlight this trait in books, activities, and discussions this month, and we invite you to continue the learning at home too if you'd like! Every month I will post the character trait we're celebrating on the wall outside my office (see below), and I will also share it here on the blog and when I write columns in The Primary Bulletin weekly newsletter.
