Grief Counseling Group

I'm getting ready to start up the "Forget-Me-Nots," which is a small counseling group here at TPS for children who have experienced the death of a beloved person. In this group, students will learn about the grieving process, express their thoughts and feelings related to the loss, and remember their loved one in a special way. Small groups are not for everyone, but they can be an excellent opportunity for children struggling with similar issues to express their feelings, learn coping strategies, support each other, and discover that they are not the only ones facing certain issues. The group will meet 8 times for 30 minutes once a week during the school day.
