Summer Programs

So far I've received information on two summer programs. If you'd like me to send home a paper flier for either program in your child's backpack, please just let me know!
  • Project HELP- Certified teachers working with students who need additional help in reading, language, spelling, math, and social skills. Open to County and City students who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. June 6 - July 1, Monday - Thursday, at Crestmont Elementary School in Northport. Cost is $125 and includes a daily sack lunch. Cut-off for registration is May 31.
  • University of Alabama Reading Skills Programs - Programs for students entering kindergarten - 12th grade. Classes meet once a week at Mary Ann Phelps Activity Center by Rock Quarry Elementary. Tuition and fees vary by program level. Call 1-800-978-9596 for more information.
I have not received any fliers yet for Shelton State's Kidz Kollege, but I will let you know if and when I do. I understand that TPS is sending out the flier for its summer program around April 1, so you can look for it in your child's backpack then!

Thanks for reading! We are glad you're here!
