Welcome to the new school year at Taylorville Primary! I hope you all had a great summer and a nice first few days of school. It is fun and energizing to see your sweet children in the hallways again!
Right now I am in the midst of gathering new email addresses from parents and entering them into my contact lists, so I will probably be quiet on the blog for a week or two until all that settles down.
In the meantime, I am stopping by every classroom to introduce myself as someone who cares, listens, and helps everyone be their best here at school. I'll also run meetings for 1st and 2nd graders who are new to TPS next week, so they can meet some other new children and get answers to any questions they have about the school.
I'm planning on my regular classroom lessons starting after DIBELS, the week of September 3rd. I'll start with 2nd grade, then see 1st and K later in September and October.
