I had a lot of help today sorting out all the food drive donations! The counseling advisory committee, a few students, and Mrs. Morton (one of our school's great custodians) all pitched in to get the job done. It was wonderful to see so many contributions! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity. It will make a huge difference in our community, especially during such a difficult economic time. Most of the food will go to the Harvest Hands Food Bank, and some will go directly to families in our community. When I contacted the food bank, I learned that they are currently serving twice as many families each week as they were at this time last year (200 now compared to 100 last year). They were very grateful for our school's assistance. A few pictures are below! Again, THANK YOU for making this year's first service project a success!
