I am planning a Career Day for our 2nd graders on Monday, May 17, and the main attraction will be guest speakers from various careers who have volunteered to tell the students about their jobs. We are currently looking for these volunteers! If you or one of your friends or relatives might consider coming to speak to our students, please let me know so that I can send you home a letter with more details and the form for volunteering. I am sending the letter home with all 2nd graders today, but will gladly make copies for any K or 1st grade parent who might want to volunteer, or any 2nd grade parent who needs an extra form. Just let me know!
Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity to be part of the fun and learning! This was a really fantastic day for our kids last year and we are looking forward to another very special event.
